April 2009 News - Track Video.

Recently the unique 1300m track at Seymour was subject to a visit by Jockey Cam. The track video highlights Seymour's unique 1300m course and the long straight to the only turn from the 1300m shute. The video then gallops down the home straight where all horses are given an even chance.

CEO, Penny Reeve was delighted with the result. "The video footage is a little bit bumpy but it should give owners and trainers a real idea of just how fair the 1300m shute is in giving all horses a chance and it adds a point of difference in that we want people to see our fabulous course." said Penny.

February 2009 News - Puckapunyal Army Cup Day.

Also to note at Seymour recently was the maiden win of of the regally bred Coubertin. He is the three quarter brother to the North Easts very own champ in Elvstroem and half brother to Haradasun. He won his 1300m maiden quite well and big things could come from this win at Seymour!
