The third annual Victorian Country Thoroughbred Festival is at Seymour Racecourse on Sunday 23rd August. With festival displays and activities all taking place to a backdrop of quality thoroughbred racing.
The Victorian Country Thoroughbred Festival is an event which brings together all those associated with this exciting and economically strong industry. The event incorporates all aspects of the thoroughbred industry including racing, breeding, training, transport, hospitality, trading, veterinary, education and employment.
This year (2009), the Victorian Country Thoroughbred Festival promises lots for everyone complemented by great racing and the running of the Chatswood Vase Inglis Bonus series for 3yo's rated 0-72 over 1300m with up to $100,000 of prizemoney on offer for this race alone.
This festival which is held in the heart of Victoria's thoroughbred homeland - the North East, will showcase the regions unique Thoroughbred and Tourism product. With a fantastic program of activities and entertainment, it is sure to be a great event for the whole family.
